Volunteers

Pallotti College is staffed entirely by a team consisting of volunteers & some paid staff. But it’s fair to say that we are built on Volunteers and couldn’t function without them: ordinary people who do extraordinary work and generously give their time towards providing a place of true welcome, so that every guest will leave feeling rested and renewed.

Each of us can be inspired in some way by the charism of St Vincent Pallotti and all have individual skills to bring to our community.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and all ages, people in between jobs, students, gap year, retired people and couples, international visitors, backpackers. Ideal for those interested in hospitality to get some experience and training, people at a crossroads in their lives, or simply looking for the warmth of community.

We are seeking a small number of volunteers to help with the day-to-day operation of our centre including hospitality, housekeeping, helping in the kitchen, creating and maintaining a herb and vegetable garden, some prefer to work on the farm managing livestock and pastures, also lawn mowing and grounds, helping in the office or getting involved with some of our special outreach activities.

During quieter times we can enjoy outings together and our overseas volunteers often spend days off exploring our country.

This is a great opportunity to join our team and experience life in a beautiful rural environment with other like-minded people. We are surrounded by National forest and other rural properties and have many native animals and birds on site.
